Defensive Driving

Always First Driving Academy offers a BMV-approved defensive driving course, also called traffic school or driver improvement class. Sessions are held in our Clarksville classroom on a monthly schedule. Drivers enroll for court requirements, insurance savings, point reduction, ticket dismissal, or to sharpen everyday skills. Every participant learns practical ways to avoid citations and prevent collisions. Along with safe and defensive driving techniques, the course covers topics including:

Traffic laws and common violations.
Alcohol and drug impaired driving and consequences.
Building safer driving attitudes and habits.
Sharing the road with cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians.

Indiana state law requires this driver improvement program to run four hours. You receive completion documentation when you finish the class.

Getting Started With Enrollment

Registration is simple. First, confirm with your court, insurer, or employer whether a BMV-approved driver improvement course meets your requirement. Some drivers take the class only to refresh skills, and that is fine too.

Next, call 812.288.7211 or use our online Enroll page to choose an open class date at our Clarksville location. Bring a valid Indiana driver license and any court paperwork you were given. Plan to stay for the full four-hour session. When class ends, you receive documentation of completion for your records.
